"What's your flava? Tell me what's your flava?" I'm sorry, but Craig David's song immediately came to my mind when I started to write this post. The Belgian chocolate house Neuhaus created a new type of chocolate called the Duo and I was lucky enough to try them. Binging on chocolate for the blog? I've had worse. Not only was Neuhaus founded in 1857 (over 150 years ago, say what!) but they are also the official trader for our royal family, which makes it safe to say that you know you've got some pretty good chocolate in your hands.
Being the total sweet tooth that I am, I was more than willing to help the Neuhaus team out. From the moment that the mailman delivered the box of Neuhaus Duo chocolates to my house, my family immediate took a jump to claim them. The deal I had to make with them? I was allowed to try one of each and had to leave what's left for them. Totally unfair. Anyway, I tried them out and I'm telling you what's my flava after the jump.
If you're planning to visit a Neuhaus store for yourself, have a look here. They have 1500 selling points in 5 continents, so I'm sure that there's one around for everyone.
The Neuhaus Duo collection will be in stores from 7 April 2015 for a limited period of time.

The Neuhaus Duo collection was created when the Maître Chocolatier got the idea to use his all time favorite ingredients from all over the world together. He put together for different types of chocolates, each containing to special ingredients:
Caramel & Vanilla
Milk chocolate with a slight salty caramel from Isigny and an intense vanilla from Madagaskar.
Rose & Raspberry
Milk chocolate, yet fruity; this chocolate contains two layers: a layer of rose petal filling and a layer of filling with pieces of raspberry.
Pineapple & Sichuan
Spicy dark chocolate with a filling of Chinese Sichuan pepper and a soft pineapple ganache which creates the perfect balace.
Violet & Meringue
Again, this chocolate contains two layers: a ganache with violets from Toulouse and a crispy filling with Italian meringue.
Green tea & Lemongrass
Spicy dark chocolate filled with a crispy filling based on Chinese green tea and oriental lemongrass.

Even though I could eat everything all day, I decided to save these chocolates for some me-time, while catching up on some fashion magazines. Whenever I'm reading, blogging, watching a movie... I need to have a bite around. It might not be the best way to spend my moments of leisure, but I just can't deny myself something yummy.
And Shark Attacks personal favorite is...
* DRUMROLL*
The Violet & Meringue Duo chocolate! The first time I got the chance to try a Neuhaus chocolate, it was one with violet crumbs on top. I loved that violet flavor so much; I guess it stuck with me all this time. However, all of these chocolates are just so damn good! My brother-in-law will visit us tomorrow and my mom hid a chocolate so that he could have it. She was afraid that we would eat the whole box. That pretty much says it all, doesn't it?
so in need a dat chocolate now

I'm getting really hungry now (I probably could live on chocolate alone)! And I'll second Lauren's comment: your eyes have a striking color that stands out, looks great with all that brown :-)
